Aug 08, 2019 (Pic 01 of 05) - I learned that the mother of the fawn will let it go alone to discover it's environment. She will come and gather it back as some point. But this fawn is overall safe from everything but a vehicle on the road.

THE BIRDS // May 30, 2011 (Pic 01 of 01) - These non-alcoholic related Wild Turkeys just exited the woods to check out a freshly plowed field near my house in Whitesville, along Hwy 54. Not sure I can convey it, but these turkeys are huge and they can fly a short distance. I had just turned 53 and got scared to death. I walked into my woods and disturbed a gaggle of turkeys who took flight. The group was so big they darkend the sky though never getting too far off the ground.

I was not ready for this activity. I was sitting there and these two Hummingbirds were both competing for a drink of the sugar water so I had to use my iPhone to capture this. The last minute is the best. -- Sep 23, 2018
This may remind you of a horror movie... Me too, it begins when my umbrella fails to open as they fly over. -- Feb 2015
I had just walked down to my lake (you can see what the old "Sager Shack" looked like) in the early morning and couldn't miss a Broad-wing Hawk swoop down to catch his breakfast... a rabbit out of the corner of my eye. I was there to clean up the leaves after the Winter and was obviously delayed in those operations. -- Feb 2016
